- Switchboard Upgrade for Solar
Many older Brisbane homes need a switchboard upgrade before solar can be installed — either to accommodate the solar circuit breakers and isolators required by Australian Standards, or because the existing board doesn’t have the capacity to safely manage the additional solar circuits. We carry out switchboard upgrades specifically to prepare for solar installation, in coordination with your chosen solar installer.
- Battery Storage Electrical Wiring
Adding a home battery (Tesla Powerwall, Sungrow, Enphase, Alpha ESS, etc.) requires dedicated electrical wiring, circuit breakers, and isolators installed by a licensed electrician. This is separate from the solar installer’s scope — we handle the electrical infrastructure that connects the battery to your home’s circuits and switchboard.
- Solar-Ready Wiring (New Builds and Renovations)
For new builds and major renovations, installing solar-ready conduit and wiring before the build is complete is dramatically cheaper than retrofitting later. We install the conduit runs, roof penetrations, and switchboard space allocation that allow solar to be added seamlessly in the future.
