Data & TV Cabling Services in Brisbane
In 2026, a home or business that runs entirely on Wi-Fi is one that’s constantly fighting dropouts, dead zones, and bandwidth limitations. A properly installed data cabling network — with wired Ethernet connections to key rooms, a centralised patch panel, and correctly installed TV antenna points — is the difference between a home that works and one that’s always slightly frustrating.
Fused Air’s licensed electricians install structured data cabling, TV antenna outlets, NBN connection points, and home networking infrastructure across Brisbane and Moreton Bay. We’re Bronze Master Electricians — all our data and communications work is done to Australian Standards and comes with the same compliance documentation as any other licensed electrical job.

Data & TV Services
Data & TV Services We Install
- Data Cabling & Ethernet Points
Cat6 and Cat6A data cabling for reliable wired internet connections in bedrooms, home offices, living areas, and outdoor entertainment spaces. Wired connections deliver faster speeds, lower latency, and more reliable performance than Wi-Fi — essential for home offices, gaming setups, and streaming.
- TV Antenna Points & Connections
Adding a TV point to a room, upgrading from a dodgy coax run to a proper antenna outlet, or connecting a new room to your home’s antenna system. We install new TV antenna points and can advise on antenna upgrades if your signal quality is poor.
- Home Network Infrastructure
Centralised patch panels, network switch installation, cable management, and structured home network setups. For homes with multiple Ethernet points, a properly patched network cabinet keeps everything tidy and makes future changes simple.
- NBN Connection Points
Installing or relocating the NBN connection point within your home, adding conduit for future upgrades, or running data cabling from the NBN entry point to your preferred router location.
- Commercial Data Cabling
Structured cabling for offices, retail premises, and commercial fitouts — including cable management, patch panel installation, and coordination with your IT provider for network commissioning.

Frequently Asked Questions
In Queensland, installing structured data cabling (Cat6) within walls or roof spaces requires a registered cabler (ACMA Registration). Fused Air's electricians hold the appropriate registrations. Combining data cabling with electrical work in the same job means one visit, one tradesperson, one invoice.
Cat6 is the current standard for data cabling — it supports gigabit speeds and is backward compatible with older networking equipment. We install Cat6 as standard, and Cat6A for clients wanting future-proofing for 10-gigabit connections.
Yes — it's one of our most common jobs. We run cabling through walls and roof spaces with minimal impact on finished surfaces. In most cases we can achieve clean installations with only small access holes.
We can check the quality of your existing antenna cabling and connections. If the antenna itself is the issue, we can recommend an antenna specialist. We handle the cabling side — antenna installation is a separate trade.
Absolutely — and renovation time is the ideal time to do it. Running data cabling before plasterboard goes up is significantly cheaper and cleaner than cabling through finished walls.
