Power Upgrade
Types of Power Upgrades We Handle
- Switchboard Circuit Capacity Upgrade
Adding circuits to your existing switchboard to support new appliances, EV chargers, outbuildings, or granny flats — without needing a full mains upgrade. Often the most cost-effective starting point.
- Single-Phase Mains Upgrade (63A to 100A)
If your existing single-phase supply is undersized for your current or planned loads, we can upgrade the service fuse and main switch to a higher-capacity connection. Coordinated with Energex.
- Single-Phase to Three-Phase Upgrade
Three-phase power is required for certain high-demand equipment — large EV chargers, workshop machinery, commercial air conditioning, and some solar/battery systems. We manage the complete upgrade including Energex applications and metering changes.
- Sub-Board Installation
For properties with granny flats, workshops, or outbuildings, a sub-board provides dedicated electrical supply to a separate structure from your main switchboard — clean, compliant, and metered separately if required.
